Let him tell the guy! It will work better for you. Here is why. He will believe more! You ask why? If he has low self esteem, even if he doesn't show it, or he is shy. It sounds more believable coming from a third party that has nothing to gain or lose by sharing this information. It is a quirk in human behavior that makes this work!
