This guy friend/long ago lover and I have kept a friendly relationship ,mainly on the phone and he always flirts with me etc....normally I answer his calls when he calls but I didn't the other day and when I saw him in town I stopped to say hi and he said I tried calling you today,i said yeah I know .He said what are you playing hard to get? I said no I was outside doing something. why is he assuming I'm playing hard to get? It kinda shocked me that he said that because he is usually the one that plays games.

It is quite obvious, he called you and you didn't call him back even though you knew he called you. That is called ignoring someone, and he is taking it up as "playing hard to get".
He obviously still likes you, that is why he is playing along with this "friendly relationship" with you, for him there is no "friendly relationship" only a desire to be with you.

He thought you deliberately ignored his call. Did you ever play games like that with him?

He was most likely upset by your care-free answer "yeah I know. I was outside doing something. "

I don't know why but it irks me when people have that blast 'I was doing "something"' attitude, especially friends. Heck, most have intimate details on each other but today they decided to be James Bond and are doing "something. " :)

If you don't want to share details, just say "Sorry, I was busy. What's up? " Simple and to the point without that, yeah, I did "something" today but it is so secretive that if I were to tell ya, I'd have to kill ya attitude.

If I miss a call from somebody I want to talk to because I had my hands full, I usually call back as soon as I can. Just not answering somebody's call is kind of weird. It surprises me to hear that you think he likes to play games. Men don't like games in general, they like things to be played pretty straight. They have simple brains when it comes to relationships. I like her, therefore I want to talk to her and be with her. I think a simple, "Sorry I didn't answer your call or call you back. It was a bit rude," would smooth this over.

Well when ANYONE doesn't return a call that I know, it's rude. So when a girl does it, sometimes guys assume that they're kind of playing hard to get, or making them self being chased after. And doesn't sound like you did it, but if a girl does, it's really a stupid idea. So any girls that read this and have done it, STOP! It just makes the guy think that you're stuck up or rude, neither of which are a great quality to have. It's common courtesy to return a phone call if you're busy. Whether it's a guy, girl, friend, partner or whatever.

Does it ever annoy you that you're single?
random-ren asked 12 days ago

Yes, most of the time! I really wish I had a boyfriend/girlfriend!

A little, because I feel left out.

Not really...

Nope! I have too much fun being single!

What's there to be annoyed about?

What is your favorite outfit for a night out with friends?
Depends where we are going. If it is a party, I would have to say Jeans and a Tee :) If it was a club I would have to say a short dress with leggings and flats :)

How do you style your hair and do your make-up?
I ALWAYS wear my hair down :) I don't like putting it up. I try to wear it different though so its not always the same. For make-up, sometimes I wear mascara and that's all, and sometimes I wear mascara eye liner and eye shadow. But I ALWAYS wear lip balm :) Sometimes I don't even wear make-up!

Do I have style?
