I've known this girl for a couple years now, but I've never actually looked at her the way I have these past couple months. I started talking to her more and we started flirting with each other. Eventually I hear from her friends that she likes me. I really like her too and I tell her how I feel. She says that she does like me, but that she is not ready for a relationship at the moment. She wants to just hang out as friends and really get to know each other before she takes the next step. But then a like 3 weeks later I find out she has started to date another guy! Whats up with that!?. Please let me know your opinion on this situation because I am extremely confused.
Ok.. Yeah, us girls can be confusing.. So..first of all, are you like really good friends? If so, she might feel awkward going out with you, regardless of how much she likes you, because if either of you broke it off, she might feel that it would ruin your friendship. I know that pretty much every girl feels this way. Also, did she ask him out or did he ask her? I know if a guy tthat I didn't like asked me out, I would probably at least give him a chance. If that's the case, I would be too upset..she is probably still always thinking about you.. Hope I helped..
She may have been interested, but from the last thing you mentioned I think you should just move on. She could have been flirting around with both of you at the same time and after a while she realized she liked the other guy more.
