I really like this guy I work with. I broke up with my boyfriend for a while and we dated. We broke up because I was partying too much, and he has commitment issues. I'm back with my boyfriend now. But me and this other guy have continued messing around. After the last time we hooked up he won't talk to me anymore. I try to go up to him and talk and he blows me off. Sometimes he will come over by me and say something sarcastic. But that's it. I really miss talking to this guy because he really makes me laugh. We used to be good friends. Also now he is talking and laughing with this other girl in our work area. Why is he doing this? I makes me really mad and sad. Please help!
I agree with Motor. You're with your boyfriend. Obviously this guy liked you since you guys dated. You seem to want your cake and eat it too. You have to make a decision. You can't have every guy on a backburner, totally into you and flirting with you.
You went from friends to a couple, and now you're back to friends again. Once you cross that line, and try and come back, it is NEVER exactly the same, ESPECIALLY in the beginning. His feelings and heart are hurt, and he's going to be a jerk to you to feel better. And either he likes this other girl, or he's trying to make you jealous. You, might think it's childish to act like that, but not in his eyes, and not in other guy's eyes. There is nothing appealing about you having a boyfriend to him. Your stock went down as girlfriend material, and as boyfriend material. Guys flirt with girls that have boyfriends differently, if at all. Maybe give it time, and things might get better. Chances are, one of you will get a new job, you will stop seeing each other, and it will never be the same.
Probably because you're "back with your boyfriend now. " Not every guy thinks that's a sign to keep "messing around. " Can be kind of a turn off to some, believe it or not.
Not to mention, are you still partying too much, and are you sure its just the boyfriend who has commitment issues? Just sayin'.
