I'm just curious about what others would say, but to be fair, I'd change the fact that I want to change anything at all. I wish I could accept myself for who I am.

Good question. Once a year I always ask myself what I'd like to change about myself and after the usual nit picking of some physical or personality attributes, I've thus far come to the same conclusion - I'd rather not change anything.

We tend to associate or want to make changes to the present or the past because we think it would have affected the outcome to be more positive. Like everyone else, I've had my share of ups and downs but I am pretty happy with the outcomes of who I am, where I am at this juncture in my life, and more importantly knowing how to move towards the next steps.

There is one thing I have a problem with and that's my weight. I'm hideously thin and nothing seems to work, its also affecting my confidence in approaching people as all I can think of is "they're staring at my arms I know it".

Not sure if it'll ever get sorted, looking at my Dad I'm due a fill out soon! All you people who wouldn't change a thing, I envy you, I really do.

Question Asker I envy them too, but you'll find a way to love and accept yourself for you. I don't know what it takes because I haven't reached that point yet myself but we'll all get there eventually! - 9 months ago

I would like to have perfect, healthy skin. It's a lot better now than it was a few years ago, but I could be very happy with a nicer complexion.

I want to jump 50 inches in the air without help from something or someone else. Not much beats spiking the volleyball over my competitor's block.

Nice answer to your own question. Okay, for me, it'd be my own inability to stand up for myself in many situations. I'm really soft spoken, and that means that I rarely stick up for myself, and then I get hurt by the results.

For me, I would have to change my height, I'm small and therefore I'm not really someone that a lot of guys would notice . Also my nose, haha .

But then, I think maybe God created us this way because this is what He knows is best, and of course, we cannot be smarter than our Creator, can't we . ? =)

I really wouldn't want to change anything maybe except my height I want to be taller - I want to be 5'4 at the most and I'm only 5'0 to 5'1 - it ranges for some reason but it's just so unfair my sis is 5'4 and I feel bad, oh and I hate this one especially when I'm on a train - and let me tell you - you get on the train at 6 o'clock in the morning during rush hours its a day in the field park trying to look for space and this actually happened to me I walk in the train and the whole train was crowded so I was standing near the door and it couldn't close cause I was in the way so what happened was there was a guy who must have been at least 6'6 and I said excuse me he turned around and looked and proceeded to what he was doing so I said excuse me again and added down here and he finally turned around and looked down at me and said "oh I'm sorry didn't see you there" I just told him sir some of us in this world are short so please next time make sure to look down! That really made me feel bad that's why I wish to at least be a little bit taller than I am!

Question Asker Aw! I'm short too! I'm 5'3! I feel your pain! But more guys like shorter girls because we're easier to pick up and yeah. Lol That guy probably did see you but he was being a butt head! Little people power! - 9 months ago
Answerer Haha yea but hopefully I wouldn't have to deal with that next time! - 9 months ago
Question Asker I hope not as well! That really sucks that it happened to you at all! - 9 months ago
Answerer I know but I don't mind it anymore ever since my friend I look at life in a different and positive way so I say you know what I may be short but I have other good qualities that I love about myself! - 9 months ago
Question Asker And that's a beautiful outlook to have! Don't ever change that for anyone! - 9 months ago
Answerer Thanks! - 9 months ago
Regenerit Wow. I'm sorry to hear this. I am 6'4" and I love being tall. Nonetheless, tall people also get their fair share of abuse. We are too tall to model! (and you are too short to model) So all in all, this happened to be on of your bad days in life. One that bugs me is when someone tells me to get lower in my seat because they can't see the board. - 9 months ago
Answerer Sorry to hear that - I know how that feels well to be in the other person position who tells you can you get down in your seat - sorry but hey everybody has their dislikes and likes what can we do but stick with what we got! - 9 months ago

ionlife Old Irish Blessing.

May those who love us, love us; and those who don't love us, may God turn their hearts; and if He doesn't turn their hearts, may he turn their ankles so we'll know them by their limping.

I've since tried to avoid the ones who limp. :)

Question Asker I love that! Oh my goodness that was awesome! I'll try to avoid the ones who limp as well lol :-) - 9 months ago
