I'm in a similar position: my grandfather, the pillar of my moms side of the family, the man that has kept all of us together, he died 2 months ago and ever since his death it seems like the entire family is on edge, just waiting for the slightest remembrance of him to push us over the edge. my advice is to start saying I love you more often. Tell your mom you love her when you hang up the phone or before you go to bed. visit your cousin in jail, try to reconnect with them, reach out. All you can do it try just know that you are not EVER responsible for their lives or for their actions or their own decisions. All you can do is try to reach out to them and stay connected. Love them and love yourself and don't expect this process to be easy. Good luck
