You could try techniques to change how you react to things. Similar to when people are trying to stop using profanity. So instead of saying Sh-t, they'll say Sugar! I used to get real mad and say Mutha F-er when I would stub my toe or get a cut, etc. Then I started to substitute that with "OMG that felt so great! " in a quieter tone, and with a scrunched up cute face that probably looks real funny to look at. I quickly forget how angry I am because I'm thinking about how funny and stupid my crafted response is.
Think up ways when you notice you are about to go off, to defuse yourself if it is bothering you. If you don't really mind how you respond to things, like Marie099 said, just find a guy who isn't bothered by it :)
Think about how bad it would be if he left, and always try being happy.. if he made a mess.. laugh about it and be like your such a pig or something like a joke.. He won't be leaving if he really loves you..

Okay .. that's their issue and I know this because I'm the same way. I've always worried about what my boyfriends thought of me and I do carry a bitchy attitude... Last night my fiance told me not be be afraid to "be me" around him because he loves me regardless. Your goal should be the same as mine... find a man who likes you for you and who can deal with your attitude. It may take awhile but I promise you it is possible!

Well, to be honest, that was quite the misleading title. Chivalry isn't dead, but it's sure as hell on life support. Where has this noble act of common courtesy gone? Who is killing chivalry? But,...
