I personally love it! I expect it. Recently I found that my over the top sarcasm threshold is when you start hammering away at a person's weakness. That's when it's not cool. For example, you tell him constantly that he's not good enough for you. That hurts. Regarding voice and tone, it's all in the way you say it. E.G. A guy can feel the vibe and know when you are just messing with him or not. A sure fire way is to give a comment to to him blunt but then smile and playfully hit him at the same time.
