I thought crushes were for teenagers but here goes. There is this guy I like but for good reasons I don't want him to know how I feel. I got the vibes from him that he was interested in me but maybe I misinterpreted them. I feel as if I have been hypnotized.
The eye lock for more than a couple of second happened yonks ago. Anyhow, whenever he is around me my heart starts to race wildly. So much so that once or twice I have felt as if I am literally gonna pass out. I feel nervous and shaky and it is just ridiculous. My face burns up no matter how much I silently tell myself not to go red. I find it soooo embarrassing that I purposely avoid situations where I have to be anywhere near him. So what is it all about? Is it just me or have others been in similar situation? How can I make these feelings go away?
Update: One more thing do you think he has guessed hoe I feel despite me doing my best to hide it? If he doesn't know and I hope he don't then I am a fantastic actress.

Crushes aren't only for teenagers. They're for humans, and you can only grow out of them. That doesn't mean that they can't come back, though.
Okay, take this from an expert in blushing wildly - the more you tell yourself not to blush, the redder you'll go. If you're focusing on not blushing so much, you'll only get more embarrassed and therefore the harder you'll blush. It can be quite painful sometimes, don't you think? It can literally feel like your face is burning white hot. Or, in this case, red hot.
Can you make these feelings go away? Not really. The crush may just have to run its course. Strangely I asked a similar Q not too long ago about what to do to stop an inappropriate crush from a minor. Almost all answerers said that it's nothing I can control, but just to let it run and then watch it fade. Hopefully the blush goes with it. You have my sympathies.
I experience the same things. But I'm a teenager. I think that that crush-thing has nothing to do with age. Does feelings are natural. Why don't you want him to know about it? Are you also shy like me? Anyways, I don't know how these feelings can vanish, but I think that someone else should walk in your life for that to happen. Or you can just concentrate on your study/work/hobby and make your life as good as possible without him by your side.
