I am in lab class, I have one main partner(Jack), and there are two other guys that sit at our table that we preform experiments with. I mostly sit there and give my help when they are stuck, for the most part they like to be the ones with the ball in the court, except for Jack, he can be aggressive, but only when he needs to be or the other guys are way off. Anyways we were outside preforming an experiment, Jack was holding the tape measure while the other guys were counting the vegetation. I was writing down the data, when I looked up and he was staring at me. He didn't turn away either, and he wasn't smiling. I quickly looked away. Then later after we had our experiment, we were standing next to each other talking to our professor. I was standing next to Jack when he turned and looked at me. He was only about a foot away staring at me, this time I didn't back down and I stared right back. Then in about 3 seconds he looked away. He wasn't smiling, but he wasn't mad it was a pleasant content kind of look. I want to know if he is staring at me because he doesn't think I am contributing enough or is he interested.
he is definitely interested. if he thought you weren't contributing enough he would have said something or been somewhat mad. but I think that since the work was getting done it couldn't have been that you weren't contributing
