of childbirth? what do you think about that? would the world and life be better if Guys, or Men had to be the ones to bear the child for 9 months and endure the pain of childbirth? After all, we are Men, we initiate everything with Women, so we might as well have to do all the rest of the work, it only seems logical to do everything else.

Update: Since us Men have to initiate everything with Women, take charge, and take the lead, we might as well be the ones to get pregnant and endure childbirth.    A month ago

Update: Us Men have to do more work than Women, so we might as well just do all the work then.    A month ago

Update: I would rather endure the pain of having periods, childbirth, than getting rejected all the time.    A month ago

Update: Waiting around for a guy to approach and ask them out is a lot better than getting rejected all the time, and I bet childbirth is not as bad.    A month ago

I think if men were to become the ones to have kids the human race would really decrease in population(guys wouldn't want to get pregnant) . So many guys have told me they're glad they are guys because they don't have to deal with all the stuff women deal with.
Well, anyway, I'm really not sure it would make the world a better place. I don't see how, it would probably be the same as it is now.

I think women have children because they're more nurturing. Men are more practical and in the first few weeks and months of its life, a baby needs love from its mother/carer to develop. They need to be talked to in order to start talking. There was some study done where they left the babys alone-they still fed them and everything, just didn't give them love and some of the babys didn't even survive and the others developed slower than the control test. If a child doesn't learn a language by the age of 5 (at least one), then they'll never be fluent in a langugage-they'll be able to pick up words but not fluency. This is because all the brain develops a lot from the age of 0-5 years old.I'm not saying men are cold but emotions just aren't their strength-practicality is.

Once again, getting over your rejection! Childbirth is horrendous from what I've heard. Women have died in childbirth-not so much these days but it still can happen. Childbirth can last for like 72hrs-thats THREE DAYS! and some women have to have caesarian sections which leave you with a scar on your bikini line which is very sore after the birth. this is all from what I've heard-i have no kids. but trust me, rejection is easier

Question Asker Well women can get an abortion or take the birth control pill in order to avoid all that crap. - 11 days ago
Answerer If a woman wants a child, then she has to go through childbirth. and don't talk about abortion in such an offhand way. I'm prochoice but its hardly the womans first choice. birth control pill is good but some women don't take it properly and end up pregnant or don't use condoms when taking antibiotics (the pill doesn't work with antibiotics). Question Asker Well men getting pregnant would show leadership, and women look for leadership in a man. - 11 days ago
Answerer God you're so sexist! its scary. - 11 days ago
Question Asker Well it's the truth, women instinctively are attracted to a man that can take the lead. - 11 days ago
MrTinker Yes, a scar, physical pain - lets see what happens when you get rejected if woman ever ask a guy out, it hurts and you get depressed, etc. Can't get on with your life or just give up. Now take that and multiple it by x100 and then you might realize how lucky you really are. Being a mother is something, but guess how many females have ripped mens hearts out and only to come crawling back. You're not seeing both sides of the fence. Stand in the middle and you'll see that both mena nd woman are ass - 8 hours ago

oh to answer your question, I think the world would be better for women but worse for children because I don't think men would give up their jobs to look after the kids. I think there's a reason women have kids and men dont. women are naturally more nurturing and more willing to make sacrifices than men are. I know I'm generalising-some female mothers can be awful and the dads are great-but it usualy is the way that the dad is a complete workaholic who the kids never see. I don't think men would be able to handle taking care of a child 24/7

If men got pregnant, then women would be the rulers and then there wouldn't be as many wars. Women wouldn't want to start wars because they think of the civilians that will probably be hurt esp if they are women with kids like themselves. I don't think women would be as greedy either so there wouldn't be any credit crunches. I do think the world would be better overall because women would all have equal rights and not be opressed.

Question Asker A lot of women think it's a blessing that they are the ones that get pregnant since the bond between a mother and her baby is very strong, more stronger than the fathers. - 18 days ago
Answerer Thats true but I'm not maternal so I don't care - 18 days ago

Yeah I would definitely have kids if the man could give birth lol. Well not defo but more likely. Once the woman has a kid, her life changes forever and she's stuck with a kid 24/7. You can't hand them back! I only like doing the nice things like taking them to the park which is pretty much what a working dad will do. He won't have time to look after the kid so gets all the good bits. Once a woman has a kid, her career progression is over. Whatever level she's at, then that's it. No company will give her more promotions because they know that when it comes down to it, she will prioritise her children over work. Which is the way it should be but its not great for the company who only care about making a profit. see this article for proof: link

Also the amount of single mothers stuck with the baby while the guy runs off is unreal!
I don't think pregnancy is a blessing. Its a bloody curse! We have to be so careful about contraception. If I couldn't get pregnant, I would sleep with more ppl. You should realise how lucky you are and quit moaning. Women also get paid a lot less than men in work for doing similar work. The women's movement is the only reason women even have any rights. There are lots of countries where womens laws are severely limited-they just can't do anything and have to wear burkas etc. Women are still trafficked as prostitutes a lot or sold into marriage-it just doesn't happen as much with men because the demand isn't there.

I don't mean to rant but honestly what did you expect?! Like you have got to be kidding me!

Question Asker Why does the woman always get custody of the kid or kids after the parents break up? - 9 days ago
MrTinker For the most part, guy's don't run off, the woman forces him out...thats not a woman, that's a kid, age means nothing. Females also WANT to keep the kid, the house, everything - and then they realize they can't afford it. :\ - 8 hours ago

If you guys could give brith, I guess that would be easier for some girls because sometimes guys are jerks and leave but the shoe would be on the other foot. Personally, for some reason I want to give birth? wierd, I know, but I want to be the one to carry the baby. also, if that happened women woulden't get their periods and this would lead to less bitchy-ness and mood swings and I bet men would like that!

As for why I want to give birth, I just don't know. I like the idea of me being the reason for someone is living, because if you think about it,scientists just found out a way to create sperm so we don't even need men to get pregnant anymore. But, I want to carry my future husbands babies and to grow his DNA in me. Wierd, I know but I just want it.

MrTinker Next is to go around and start killing off all the men, not like most of us aren't already keeling over in wars. Also you'll find out the sperm doesn't work right yet and the baby dies a month after birth. But I wonder, if you don't have men around to do the hard and dirty stuff, you might go to use machines, and send the earth to the dust bin that much faster. - 8 hours ago

Interesting thought, but no, I don't think the world would be a better place. As you've so unsympathetically put it- pregnancy and childbirth is only 9 months (although periods can last up to 45-50 years and then of course there's menopause oh joy!) and then it's over. I don't believe pregnancy defines the child it brings into the world- BOTH parents do that regardless of who actually gives birth and let's face it, there are some amazing parents of both genders and some crappy parents of both genders. As for affecting women- I'm sure pregnancy changes your outlook on the world and certainly the ability to have children affects how you see sex, family, and the pregnancy process but I don't think it fundamentally makes or breaks a woman's personality- and I don't think men would be better off if they gave birth nor would women. We'd probably be in about the same place- only maybe we'd have a reversal of the double-standard for sex and MEN would be labelled sluts and whores while women could sleep with as many people as they wanted and not be judged for it. You saying you wouldn't care what society thought in the same sentence as using those judgemental terms just proves you DO care and you WOULD care what society thought if it described you that way.
Bottom line- we'd still be bringing babies into this world that both parents have to raise and care for, so I think the world would be just about the same.

Question Asker When a couple breaks up, why does the girl always get custody of the kids? - 9 days ago
Answerer She doesn't- maybe you should look into the matter- joint custody is extremely common now because kids are given a say and they usually choose joint custody. If one parent is unfit, then the courts decide and it's not always the mother-my brother-in-law has had custody of my step-nephew since he was a toddler and his drug addicted mother rarely sees him. When my friend's parents split up, his dad got custody of all 3 kids, the youngest was only 9 at the time because they wanted to live with him. - 9 days ago
Question Asker But how come when it comes to teen pregnancy or young people in their early 20's? like lets say that people who are not married, never were married, when a couple like that breaks up, it is generally always the girl that gets the custody of the kid. - 9 days ago
Answerer No offense, but a lot of the time when girls have kids in their teens, the guys don't exactly stick around- they tend to be a bit unreliable. I'm not saying ALL guys are like that, but statistics definitely show the majority of teen guys don't stick around. I don't know about people in their 20's, but if it's an unplanned pregnancy, then initially she gets custody with the baby, but then it later usually becomes joint. My friend's fiance has a daughter who's 4 (he's 25) and he has joint custody. - 9 days ago
MrTinker Full reverse the rolls ma'am. And yes, go down to any street in BYC with a sign "free sex" I bet you get a whole line. Now have a man do it, he'll not get many and some homosexual's will also be in line. It's harder for a man to get sex, not for a woman, that's why you can earn that title much more quickly than a man can. He has to prove himself, you do not. - 8 hours ago

wow interesting question... I think men would fall over and die...not all but most. As it is men complain " we initiate everything" ya ok that's it... but think of the mothers who initiate everything who go to work come home to work and be a mom and a wife booty call lover whatever... and on top of both those jobs she has to keep the role of being the attractive female... woman are multi task men well not so multi... but I do have to admit it would be great to see men be the ones giving birth.. maybe there would be less that want to get around the block and knock someone up only to go do that all over again with some other female...overall eve wasn't the only who ate the fruit from the tree... .and major probs for single dads...! and rejection are you serious... I think certain guys deserve to endure that pain because they show very little sympathy to the woman who goes through the pain. When some men feel very helpless while still trying to comfort the woman as much as possible, those guys don't deserve it in my opinion, because they give a damn. The guys who think it's nothing more then another thing for women to complain about, they should get it :) And think about it, now, many guys already order their women around when they AREN'T pregnant, if they did get pregnant, think about what WE would have to go through with all their orders ;)

MrTinker Once again a very un-intellectual answer, look at it from both sides not form the "oh poor me poor me" perspective. We're working our asses of for you and our child, and all you can do when we get home is "did you pickup the milk? you need to do the dishes and the clothes, and and and etc." Make this a little realistic, it's not the 60's where a husband and wife did stuff to help eachother, now men have to drink beer to unwind from all the sh*t we get. Wow, is approaching women really that big of a deal? Get over it, being bitter isn't going to help your romantic situation. Women also have to work to be attractive and feminine so men will want to approach her. Women that sit around complaining about making an effort are the unattractive ones without dates (sound familiar?) Everyone has a role to play and yes, we have to put in effort to just like you do so get over it.

Question Asker Yes it is that big of a deal for me because I always struggle, the women do not reciprocate when I try to start a conversation with them and keeping it going. - A month ago
Answerer What do you find yourself struggling with?

Maybe you are approaching women who aren't interested? If you are doing a cold approach (approaching a random girl you don't know) try to gauge her interest first. See if she makes eye contact with you and smiles before you go over there. - A month ago
Question Asker Because for some reason I always want what I can't have, I always seem to be initially attracted to the girls that are taken already, I am not saying that once I find out a girl has a boyfriend then I start pursuing her, it's just the girls that I notice and becoming attracted to, I find out they have a boyfriend after approaching them and talking to them, and asking them out. I wish girls would put a sign or sticker on them that says single or taken. - A month ago

MrTinker You get rejected 10+ times and that's very light, most get rejected 30+ by the begining of highschool if not more. Yes you have to work to be attractive, I'm not looking at your stupid ass body I'm looking at your heart and soul, not something that hold it, becasue the inside is importent. You've not married? Or to the wrong person? The body is a shell, nothign more, maybe less. - 8 hours ago

To answer your question, the world would NOT be a better place. I do not think your question is absurd. The question itself, perhaps, just needs to be rephrased. Men and women need an honest level of communication. Understanding who they are, and the desires and needs of their significant other. But its seems as if you're misinformed about "Modern" women, and stuck in a time warp of "Made Men." LOL! But if you treat a marriage or relationship as if its 'duty-bond' (the expectations of both men and women), then you will have spent little time TRULY understanding your partner, and thus, will result in a failed relationships!

If men got pregnant instead of women, all schools would give compulsory contraception education, every man would be on birth control, which would be paid for by government.
Abortion would be one of the Ten Commandment's and a Constitutional Right.
there would be a lot less births, thus the world would not be so overpopulated, meaning less misery and malnutrition. Thus yes, it would be good for Mankind.
