I want to start out by saying I have no romantic feelings for my friend. I'm just concerned about his recent behavior and would like to understand guys better...
Okay, so I have a friend at work and we've been friends for almost 2 years now. He's 18 and I'm 20. We've never hung out much outside of work, but we always got along and talked a lot whenever we got the chance. Work friends, you know? Anyway, this year I dated this guy who became friends with him. My friend would join us whenever we out with a group. I dated my ex for 5 months and about 2 months ago I broke up with him and my friend at work has somehow become distant towards me and cold even. When I talk to him he seems to look away a lot, as if he's not interested in what I'm saying... this is a guy who talks to everyone and lives off of conversation, so it's weird for him to ignore me like that. And he usually always makes eye contact. He doesn't even try to talk to me and when I talk to him I feel like I'm talking to a wall. This isn't something that would happen out of the blue... I think he's mad at me. Maybe since my ex and him hang out sometimes... maybe he said some things to make my friend take his side. It's weird because my friend's usually a completely open guy. What do you guys think?
I'm going to talk to him tomorrow, but I would love some advice.
Thank you.
Update: Let me add that in the beginning he didn't act this way. I'm actually the one who told him that I broke up with me ex and he said he understood and didn't seem like he thought it was a big deal. THAT'S why this all of a sudden change is freaking me out...

It sounds like a serious case of the "bros before hoes" mentality. I don't know what to tell you. I do commend you in advance for talking to him about this, though. Not enough people try to talk their problems out.
Thank you. I think it's dumb for me to ignore the fact that we are supposed to be friends and my ex has nothing to do with our friendship. - A month ago

Well, to be honest, that was quite the misleading title. Chivalry isn't dead, but it's sure as hell on life support. Where has this noble act of common courtesy gone? Who is killing chivalry? But,...
