I have always had a lot of guy friends and over the years I have developed feelings for some of them. But I always get the classic 'I think of you as "One of the guys"'. So how do I stop this 'friend' pattern from continuing?

Update: See I do flirt and it means nothing to them . they just think I'm not being serious!
I don't know what to do anymore . it's really starting to get to me. Like I also just hanging around with this really great guy. We flirt, tickle and play fight .    4 months ago

Update: (which most would think means he likes you .) with each other and then yesterday I asked him if we were just friends or what . and he said that he just wanted to be my friend. I don't get it . do I have a giant sign over my head that says .    4 months ago

Update: "Not good enough" or something! I know I'm a fun person, cute and would make a great girlfriend for any guy . I'm understanding and so forth, but it just seems no one that I want wants to give me a chance! ARGH! I just don't know what to do anymore!    4 months ago

I know, I've been there before. Despite there being some possible attraction in the beginning, if it never amounts to anything romantic initially and you guys just stay friends, they will start to consider you "one of the guys. " I agree with rock, show them interest in the beginning BEFORE they label you as just a friend.

I don't think there is anything better than a girlfriend who you can talk to like she is just one of the guys. Just be confident around them and start flirting. From there I would say you should just dress a little more sexy and they will start to notice how hot their friend is.

Overall, most guys dream every once in a while that they had a hot girlfriend who they could do all the cool guy stuff with. Just be that girl and your set.

Show them your interested, probably would have to be with new boys you meet. You can't be to shy and try to be their best friend, so some guts and do work.

Oh my god, my friend Amy said grab his butt! When he's not looking!

So now I don't know what would happen, and lol, she's got to be brave for that one I think, and is this an answer or my own question?

Guys, agree or disagree?

Yes, treat us equal in every way, even if it causes us problems

No, we should get equality when we want it, but preferential treatment other times.
