How should I react when I see the guy I like?

Smile at him, then see if he comes up to you. If he doesn't, then go talk to him. If he doesn't show interest, then forget him

Should I go up to him? - If it's something new and it wets your boat, yea... Go for it =) guys like being approached just as much as girls.


Guys do the same thing you are doing- procrastinating in hopes that the other party makes the first move. "Why?"- you ask, simple- the thought of approaching someone of the opposite sex is terrifying until you have experienced it enough to be in your comfort zone. In life, we rarely have the ability to stay in that comfort zone so we try to use defense-mechanisms to channel how we perceive our day. By supressing your feelings (A defense mechanism) you are allowing yourself the alternate reality that this guy will approach you.

I would suggest just walking up to him, you like this guy- what other reasons do you need me to elaborate about, hell I'm probably boring you to death.

If you're too shy to say something, then start an IM conversation with the person first. That way, it'll be less awkward :) Now, as you may have figured, this MIGHT take some time.. But don't worry, he probably likes you to (;

just comment on something he's doing, and try your best to start a conversation.

Start off with a eye contact, a smile and a small wave. If that doesn't work then you go up to him and start the conversation. And just be yourself.

Say hi and give him a comment :D guys like that and then he gets the chance to show something off.

oh my gosh I'm in the same position as you and I'm shy as hell! I keep planning ill go up to him to say something, it never gets past a wave or eye contact or a hi sometimes..i feel like he's just as nervous as me, so were both screwd. lol. I guess both of us should just suck it up and go up to them and say hey hows it going, or find some stupid excuse to talk to him and strike a convo...

its natural to get butterflies in your stomach when you see a guy you like! first, chill out for a second! you sound so excited it's cute! :P secondly, be yourself most importantly! don't ever forget that!
