No one is completely without the need for support (no matter how someone might pretend that is so), but whether they are generally independent or not. Being a girl myself, would have to say independent and strong. I don't want a guy to hold my hand through our relationship, I would want a relationship of equals who compliment each other.

And wouldn't be interested in a guy who wanted me to be weak and dependent.
