One of my best guy friends ( I have 2) is a '' hoe'' thing is I adore that hoe. I never wanted to be with him because I assume I already know what it's like. Don't get me wrong he's a cool dude ( has to be to be in my life) but what he wants. He usually gets and that means there's no shortage of girls. We talk about everything things I know make us uncomfortable to hear from the other. Our chemistry is crazy. And I like just being his friend. He''s not my type ( currently he's getting laid on the reg. With 4 different girls) but what if he was? I could never be the female him. See what I haven't told you is he's had me. ( when I was much younger) when I had feelings for him. I know he's not going to change anytime soon. So whats my problem?
You're problem is that you got it bad girlie. Usher's song "you've got it, you've got it bad" comes to mind from this. He's pimpin hoes in different area codes and with you it would be no different. Sure he's a cool guy and the chemistry is phenomenal but you really can't do anything with this guy as he does not plan settle down with you. If you keep talking to this guy on the regular you're just going to get that much more attached to the guy and then where will you be? You can't be "best friends" ,you can only be "friends", and maybe not even that. Yeah he gets around, and you should get around too, around and away from him.

Keep your friend at a distance. He's a player and you realize that, but at the same time you don't want to get mixed up in his crazy life.
You said he won't change anytime soon, so I wouldn't think about him in that way at all. Move on and find a guy who will be both faithful and respectable with you. It's no big deal to be friends with the guy, but just don't put yourself in any kind of a situation to be hurt or confused by him. It's just not worth your time or emotions.
I feel for you. I have a player that I adore as well and I know he adores me too, but he will most likely ALWAYS be a player.
