Men in love

When you look at her and you desire her. Not in a sexual way, but in a, I want nothing else more in this world then her, kind of way. It hit me completely out of the blue. It's like one moment I liked enjoyed presence and the next she was everything.

We were simply lying on the couch watching a movie. She fell asleep snuggled up next to me and when I looked down at her it was like... the world melted away and there was nothing but her. No audible sound other then the slow rhythmic tune of her breathing, the beating or her heart, the warmth of her body, and the smell of her skin.

I stared at her for hours. The movie ended, the sun rose, and until she woke the following morning I couldn’t take my eyes off of her.

Words simply can’t explain it. It's an overwhelming feeling that so empowering that it’s too much. It’s an intoxicating addiction. It’s a form of pleasure but at the same time torture.

I’ve never told her I love her because words just don’t seem to be enough. It’s like saying “I love you” would devalue how I actually feel.

I’ve now been editing my response for about an hour. Nothing I write is going to be good enough so I’ll just leave it at this.

I no longer think of them as symptoms. It's become a natural fact of life for me that I love my tomboy.

Well, you're not as attracted to other girls. It's just a general feeling that you feel good around them. I've been in love twice, and the second time around it wasn't as obvious as the first. But the first time it intensified all feelings. So you could be really happy or really sad and it was honestly a really unstable feeling. The second time it was more like a general warmth inside.

Do I wait to tell them? Yep. Both times I didn't tell them until I was 100% sure they were in love with me. This is for a variety of reasons, but the main one is that if you are in love with a girl, and she doesn't feel the same way about you, she'll generally loose interest and the relationship will end.
