It is definitely possible.

I'm a fairly superficial guy and will tolerate quite the amount of personality disorder based on looks but I have done this once.

There's a slightly pudgy girl who sat next to me in class. I didn't care much for her but as class went on, I slowly began to talk to her more and found she was strong, smart and funny. Then I realized holy crap... I am starting to get attracted to her.

Now she had a boyfriend but yes, it can happen.

Physical attraction to someone, for most, usually does grow as an emotional and mental connection/attraction grows. So I'd have to say yes.

i could if we had chemistry and our personalities vibed. you know how someone just grows on you? that could happen. especially if the person is already good looking and just not my type, it would be easier than say if they were flat out ugly
