So girls & guys - how do you know when you're in love?

Only been in love once and there was no "falling". It was like one minute I enjoyed being with her the next she was everything I desired. I thought I had been in love previously but now after actually experiencing it, I wasn’t.

I spent an hour in a previous post trying to explain how I felt when I knew I was in love so rather then spend another hour I'm just going to copy and paste my previous answer.

"We were simply lying on the couch watching a movie. She fell asleep snuggled up next to me and when I looked down at her it was like... the world melted away and there was nothing but her. No audible sound other then the slow rhythmic tune of her breathing, the beating or her heart, the warmth of her body, and the smell of her skin.

Words simply can’t explain it. It's an overwhelming feeling that is so empowering it’s too much. It’s an intoxicating addiction. It’s a form of pleasure but at the same time torture."

That little saying… you will know love when you see it; it’s true. You can't miss it. It's like being hit in the face with a brick. .

i know I'm in love as in not just crazy over the guy, but the love feeling is so strong when I want to be a better woman each day. not just for him but for myself. I also allow him to drive me to work towards my goals in life. I know I'm in love when I'm willing to be his peace when he's up to no good. I know I'm in love when sometimes I sit and think that one day we may not be together anymore because we might have a long distance relationship and I'm up for anything even if it's to let him go I would still want him close to me as a friend because he has opened up my eyes on a lot of things in life especially love. and I won't be able to know how to thank him for showing this much to me.

I can't stand to see him with another woman and he can't stand to see me with another man.
We both care deeply for eachother; I can't stand to see him sad and he can't stand to see me hurt.
He was never affectionate and with me he is, as for me I'm also the type that was never affectionate until I got with him.
I can tell him anything and he feels so comfortable around me,trust me I can tell.
Even after we've put each other through some very tough times,we still love eachother.
He use to do a lot of bad stuff before we were together but ever since we've been together he changed, he still do a few things he did but not as bad.
He quit doing some stuff because I didn't like it.
He talks about having a future with me.
I know he's the one somehow.
It's not just about sex for him, even tho he's all tough when he's with his friends he loves to cuddle with me and sleep.
We're both veryyyy happy when we're with eachother.
Everyone he knows know who I am because he took me to meet them.
All of his friends knows how much I love him.(Didin't know about that until one night we had an argument about something and he told me that everyone he knows can see how much I love him)
There's a lot of things that will let you know yourself that you love someone..
There's too many reasons
