Say you meet someone that you've never seen, only talked to. This person's words alone take your breath away, and then you see them and your heart flutters. Do you think it means love at first sight? Or just a really strong attraction to the person?
I've had a similar situation happen to me. I was introduced to a girl who I had no intentions of pursuing, and after spending some time with her, I developed an attraction to her. I know what you mean by the "heart flutters". I think this is a very deep feeling of attraction to the person, but I think that whatever the case a strong friendship must be developed before going further. In my case, we didn't give our friendship a chance and she and I are working extra hard to develop a friendship.
Some times is just that you really like that person, but when you get to know him you don't like his attitude. (get to know him more. See how he acts or reacts to you more often)
That's a very good point! Although this is a hypothetical question, that is great advice to those that are experiencing the feeling and wondering the same thing! - 9 months ago
Well, first of all. If you don't even know the person it's hard telling what kind of attraction you have for them at all. Sounds to me like you just have a really strong "liking" for the person. My opinion, there's no such thing as LOVE at first sight. Only lust! :)
No. It's lust at first sight. Sometimes lust and emotional connection go together, sometimes not. I wouldn't consider either alone to be love. You could end up loving someone you feel lust at first sight for, but you cannot love them at that first instant. You don't know them. Just my opinion.
I think (rationally) it's a strong attraction to the person that can result in love at first sight. You know, you see someone and you're so attracted to someone and when you talk to them it feels like you guys know each other for years and there is a click. Afterwards, you can say "it was love at first sight". Because when you see someone you have never met, it can never be real love right away, it's attraction and having the urge to meet that person and find out more about him/her.
