Does he still have feelings for me?

Consider the following:
The reason he broke up with his girlfriend is because he never stopped having feelings for you.

His friends staring at you is, frankly, creepy. But if he is, and you guys had a spark at one point, then I'd say that he does have feelings for you.

Your fear that he is "playing with you" is unfounded. If he was playing with you, then it would be much more overt, and you would be so in love with him that you would have never asked this question. I'd guess that he never got over you, and that while you never dated, he secretly loved you. He wants you, not for sex or anything else, but just to hold, and be his girlfriend.

Now, if that is what you want, then the time has come for you to act. Make it known to him that your are available, and that you want him. Tell your friends, and make sure it gets back to him. Or walk up and tell him yourself. You won't get anywhere being afraid of him. Become more bold, and take fate into your own hands.

He's yours if you want him.
