My boyfriend really, really, really likes belly dancers. He's asked me a few times to learn and do it for him, and under other circumstances I'd love to. But the only reason he likes it so much is because his ex girlfriend used to do it; the supposed "love of his life" who he's told me absolutely everything about. All the reasons he loves her, how beautiful she is, how he'd give anything just to be able to look at her one more time... stuff that kind of stung. I don't think I'd be able to without thinking about her and getting even more bitter. Am I over thinking this, or is that reasonable?

He's not over her yet. More importantly, YOU deserve someone who's ready and willing to give you their full attention. If I were you, I'd honestly re-think being with this guy.
