Ladies, have you noticed that there's a growing number of men on here that spend all their time making "friends" with an assortment of other women (and women only), then attempt to talk to you via the instant messenger? And when I say "talk", I mean verbally harass with sexual remarks?

Apparently, this website is starting to become a hook-up center for some. Wrong, wrong, wrong! I may be forced to reject guys that don't pass my screening test. I joined the site so I can get and give advice on relationships and behavior. I have a boyfriend, I don't need a wannabe player!

One girl on this site chatted to me at random and asked me how to attract guys. I told her don't worry about that. I told her the most important thing she could ever learn related to guys is how to recognize the difference between a good guy and a worthless guy.

She liked that advice. I told her I couldn't explain everything about how to recognize the difference in a short conversation. But I told her to start by recognizing the difference between men who lie and men who are honest.

She appreciated that then had to go. Hopefully I opened her mind to more things about that.

I have heard about it and seen it. It raises too many red flags to just be blown off. Best thing to do is just block them.

Question Asker Good idea. I think I'll go through my "friends" list, and keep the ones I know I've had at least 1 good conversation with. Thanks! - 13 days ago

Well, don't go to a site like this and then complain. You don't need a web site to "get advice" or "give advice" no one needs your advice. If you don't need a 'wannabe player', sign off and get a life...No one wants to hear you complain ...get lost. Plus nobody wants to read your street talk..."wannabe player" Pleeeeezzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzze !

Question Asker Bitter much? And yes, the guys that I'm aren't usually uneducated, so they say things like "hott" or "fine ass". So yes, I'll use my pathetic wannabe street language. And as a guy, you don't really have the right to tell me not to complain. I don't think you understand how frustrating it is. - 13 days ago

Question Asker So you make a joke of the situation? I wrote this out of frustration... and it was aimed at fellow females. So for you to belittle the growing situation is a bit of a slap in the face. - 13 days ago

I just ignore them. They can't harass you if you don't respond to them. Some people probably think I'm bitchy when I don't respond to them but ask me if I care. Guys that come on here and do that are probably ugly anyway

Yea its kinda sad. Not really sure what they are getting of it. I realize this site talks about sex and whatnot but that doesn't mean I want to hook up through IMing you. I feel like there are better sites for that and they should go fing them

Question Asker Yes. This website was created for advice... and I'd never use it for anything BUT that purpose. I'm sure some people think that I take it too seriously, but I think of it as people who genuinely want other people's opinions. I don't take too much stock in the opinion of 99% of the people here, but there are some very insightful individuals who have better suggestions than even my closest friends. So yes, this website can be a helpful networking tool. But just that, networking. Not hooking up. - 13 days ago

jusabarasida Yea because they think its clever and that no ones can tell.. same sh*t happens on every other networking site.. it gives a bad name to indians like me who grew up in america.. its f***ed up because whenever I say I'm indian, theyre like Ohh your a creeppp and your fake!!.. -__- f***in annoying. - 13 days ago
Answerer It is really easy to tell from the writing. I feel bad for you and I usually don't like to make generalizations about big groups of people, but the Indian guys do mostly come across as pretty creepy! Any time I have given one a chance, he has ended up being sexist or creepy. It makes me think that there must be something really wrong with the culture. They don't seem to like women. - 13 days ago
Question Asker Yes, but I think it's because a lot of people are on here from India to begin with... so you can't think too much of it as "Indian guys". And I do feel bad stereotyping. I'm sure there's some great guys from India, and they're being stereotyped by a handful of creepers. But perhaps it's a cultural difference between men and women. I don't know, it's been a while since I've taken cultural anthropology. - 13 days ago
