OK, here's the story! I volunteer at a children's center where you hang out with a kid for an hour once a week and play games with them. Anyway, this pretty girl comes in the same day that I do and her and I have exchanged glances every so often, and I sometimes catch her looking at me from across the room. I have no fear in approaching girls and striking up a conversation, but the thing is that it's nearly impossible to do so when you're both hanging out with your kids. We both leave at different times too, so I can't try then either. I found out her name from the sign in sheet and found her on Facebook, but I don't know whether that would be a totally creepy thing to do? I think that I might as well take the chance eventually, even if I don't get the chance to say hi, but I wanted to get some opinions. Have any of you been in this situation?
I've done it to guys (and now we're friends), and other guys have done it to me. I don't think adding her would be considered creepy at all. Maybe you can send her a message at the same time saying something like "hey! I found you on Facebook!". If you have your picture on ur profile, she'll recognize you and add you :). Good luck!
Girls rarely take it well when guys stalk them on Facebook. Find another way to introduce yourself. Like afterwards. Or before. Or during it. Ask her to dinner. Do not introduce yourself over the internet, it takes away oneof the basic foundations that most relatoinships are built on. Actual human interaction.
