My mom has changed a lot in the past year and a half. She used to be a great mom but now I just want to disown her. Is it alright to feel this way in the past year and a half? I have gone through a lot. She's gotten very selfish and mean and has turned into a drunk and a crackhead all because of her boyfriend. I told her how I felt about everything and all she does is make up excuses about everything I tell her and ask her I know when she's lying. Today I confronted her after I got home today after spending the nights at a friend's house. I got home and my brothers said that my mom locked them out of the house for a hour and a half while she stayed inside smoking crack. Seems like everything I try to do to fix what she's doing wrong just backfires I don't know what to do anymore. I feel like there is no hope I feel like just giving up and moving in with a friend but I don't want my 4 brothers to have to stay there without me defending them. Also because they told them they hated them for being crackheads my brothers all got hit by them. I found straws, I found cans that they are smoking their crack with and when I confronted my mom about it she was like "Why are you going through my shit" and I wasn't I was looking for a bandade for my littlest brother because he cut his finger. Last Christmas my mom wasn't home till like 7:00pm at night and all my little brothers were upset about that so I tried to make her come home but all that did was backfire on me and I was locked in my room and threated that if I came out of the room she would punch the shit out of me. She didn't even care enough to get my little brothers presents and I thought that was messed up. I didn't even care if she bought me presents but she couldn't even spare a dime for my 10 year old brother at least? She had to have that money for her crack? What do I do?

The worst that has happened to me is my brother did drugs but he got fixed up. If you go to church you can ask your pastor what you can do and if he can help in anyway but if you are not religious I'd say what the first person say.
I can't imagine how hard this is for you. No one should have to face such pain, especially at a young age. You can call the police and turn her in for drug abuse. I would verify with them what would happen in that case prior to actually turning her in. How old are your brothers? Do you have any adults you trust to discuss this with?
