OK, so me and my friends have been going to this cinema for a while (every Saturday), and I always saw this girl issuing the tickets behind the counter. I like her but I have no idea how to talk to her! I can't flirt or chat with her since she is at work and there's people behind me waiting in line!
Say something like ' I really want to go see ... but all my friends think its a movie you'd take a girl too' Or if that seems too nerve racking do a little research , find her name get her msn or add her on Facebook , perfect relationship builders without the nevousness of face to face!
Could try going up to her and try something along the lines of
"So, why exactly is a gorgeous (not hot or sexy) girl like yourself working in a place like this" Personally its more respectful to her, it shows your interested and its a way into further conversation if she is interested herself.
