Today my crush's friends came and stood right behind me. Then he got there and stood like RIGHT behind me, like his book bag was touching me. I was standing with my back to them though. And he kind of got pushed into me but he didn't touch me he caught himself in time. But anyway I noticed they started talking about how much they can bench press and my crush was talking about how much he can bench press really loud. I am just wondering if guys try to brag about stuff like that around girls? especially girls they might like?
Yes guys will very frequently brag around girls they like. It quite frankly is their way of being noticed and showing you that they are the guy you should like, because they can do whatever it is they're bragging about better than the others.
Yeah, I'll be the first to admit, as guys we have tendency to brag around girls we're interested in. It's our way of trying to get attention and/or impress the girl we're interested in.
