So there's this girl I like. The problem is, whenever I'm around her I get nervous. I can't relax. For some reason I can't act normal around her. I don't even get it. I don't know why I suddenly got this feeling for her. My confidence is struck down when she's near and get scared, why?

How do I break this ice I'm standing on?
Should I move forward and grind through this with the small amount of confidence I have?
Or should I just sit back and see what happens and go with the flow and see if things ease up and become comfortable.

You 'suddenly' got this feeling because it finally registered that you are HOT for this chick! And now that you've come to the realization, you're nervous because you don't want to say something wrong and f*** it up.

As for breaking the ice. It depends. What do you say when you're around her? I need more details ;)

Happens to all of us, the key is don't freak out, you have to act like your cool around her, cause if your nervous around her, you can make her feel uncomfortable, if you have to take a couple deep breaths before you go out with her and relax, pretend you have know this girl for ages, act like she's already you girlfriend , and if you do this you make her feel more comfortable to who knows she might be nervous to. She can tell if your nervous especially if your shaky, talk really fast, or even admit to her that your nervous around her, just go with the flow the last thing you want is a weird awkward vibe going on that will make the situation even worse for you. But you have to talk to her. Remember she's just a person like every other girl you see out there, so just go with it.

Hey, don't worry about the confidence being struck down thing. That happens to all guys whether they admit to it or not. What do you mean though when you say move forward and grind through this with the small amount of confidence that you have?
