This guy I know (and REALLY like) always seems to get quiet around me. He's usually pretty outgoing and really funny, but when we're alone, he is quiet and mostly just smiles and laughs at me (not in a mean way, know what I mean?). He also seems to always put a lot of meaning into what I say. Like, he'll take jokes literally.
I can be pretty shy too, but I try to open up to him. Is he just doing the exact opposite? Or does he just really hate me, and is trying to get rid of me?
Maybe he is just not sure what to say sometimes and figures better to be silent than to say something that would make a complete ass out of him. I guess that I can sort of relate to this guy from what you have said. There is a girl that I really like that I get sort of quiet around when it is just me and her and our friends are not there. I guess that is why I try to come up with questions in my head and then make a list of these things that I want to ask her since from what I gather girls like being asked questions about themselves. I guess the best thing that I can say is find out what you both have in common and start from there. Talk about those things. Make up your own list as well of things that you want to know about him.
