Why are they clueless someone PLEASE tell me!
I like this guy at my job and he also likes me. Today he found out that I like him and he thought someone was b. S'ing him. But then one of my closest friends told him she likes you for real!
Is he ever going to ask me out? Or should I move on? We both like each other, he tries to make a convo with me every time he passes by, he looks at me, and he smiles at me every time we are near each other.
He always offers to help and things that guys do for girls they like! So why isn't he asking me out? Is it the shyness? Or what?

GUYS please answer!

Why can't you ask him out? Break the mold, and take the chance. This guy should make the move, but it seems like theirs still some past issues (ex hurt him/whatever it is). If you really like him, don't let him get away.

I have to say that it could be a number of things.

He could be shy. This could be a result of any number of small issues.

He could have extremely low self esteem over women, or over a bunch of things.

Or he could be trying to avoid being with you for whatever reason.

It could be any one or any combination of these things.

Largely because of my past, I'm terrified to ask women out. I still suck it up and do it (with respect), but it's rare... I have to really work up to it. I've gotten to the point where I rarely ask for phone numbers any more because in my past, it's been blown out of proportion.

I've had some nasty, cruel jokes played on me. And in high school, I'd get plenty of girls telling me this or that girl liked me..." And I'd make an idiot of myself trying to flirt, or ask the girl out.

And I'm certainly not alone in that respect.

And you know, those "rules" are stupid. You can ask the guy out, and you won't break out in warts, or grow a third arm out of your forehead for it.

Girls can tend to be flirts, or so I've heard. I'm not flirted with (one girl every 3 years or so, if I'm lucky), so I'd have no idea whether it's true or not.

Maybe this guy thinks you're just being a flirt. If you treat him the same way as you do with other guys when he's around, maybe he thinks you flirt with all the guys.

It probably wouldn't kill you if you actually asked him out. I know this would blow a lot of girl's minds, but it might be a good thing to do some asking in order to help us out. If you don't do it, and we don't do it, then how do we date? Something has to give a little.

It's your decision though. These are just my ideas. Good luck.

He's very shy. You should just ask him out. Don't be surprised if he's very hesitant to touch you as well. Being timid at your age range also applies to human contact as well as verbal communication. Since touch is so important when it comes to clicking sexually, don't be surprised if the two of you end up as good friends instead of romantic partners.

Well shy and timid guys rarely make the first move unless they know is a sure thing; meaning if the girl that they are interesting in will replicate the feeling back. However, don't give up on this one he might be worth your wild so wait for a week and see what happen if that doesn't work please save him by making the first move. Cheer!

A lot of guys are clueless because you ladies tend to be mean and cruel; and by that I mean that the shy guys will finally gather the balls to ask a girl out, only to be turned down with the line of 'you're a really nice guy and I'm sure you ll find yourself a great girl, but. "
Anyway, to answer your question. Maybe somebody played a trick on him before so he doesn't really trust that you do like him. So you got couple of things you can do: Ask him straight out, or you can talk to him and kind of lead him to ask you out by using several methods. One way is to Simply ask him, 'so what do you do on weekends' (or whatever tim eframe you want to ask); assuming he says he has no plans, then you can say, 'yea I got nothing to do; it would be a nice day to do something but I got nobody to go out with. ' Now, if he doesn't take the hint with that, then your final choice is to ask him out.

GoodManDave Actually, I have been subjected to a ton of cruel answers. Yeah, any rejection can hurt, but right now, I'd be happy to get an answer as polite as that 'you're a really nice guy and I'm sure you ll find yourself a great girl, but. "

I have respect for a woman who says no like that. I've had all kinds of cruelty, and I have to say, a rejection as nice as that would be almost welcome, compared to the nastiness I've gotten. It isn't always cruel to say no, but what said and HOW it's said. - 7 months ago

He is shy, so ask him out. Sometimes we have a problem and to solve it we gotta take action our self. Next time he smile say, so when you gonna ask me out because I'm waiting.

Not a guy, but just guessing that he is really shy. It's not always easy for a guy just to ask a girl out even when he does know you like him.

So, if you like him and he knows it, then why not flip the table and try and ask him out. If he's that shy he may never ask you out, so give it a shot yourself. We can't always wait for guys to make the first move, sometimes we have to take matters into our own hands. Good luck!
