Why do girls do homework on a guy and tell him what he wants to hear?

Well, I don't personally tell them what I want to hear, but I do research simply to know what kind of guy he is. You honestly can't be too careful. Girls will tell a guy what he wants to hear, because its what we have seen from males. We follow examples, and fairly easily turn away from something we claim to believe in for boys, so why not use their crapy lines against them.

Like when you ask how the guy is within the first week of a relationship and he go "I'm happy just to be with you! " I would really like to kick him you know where, but I won't because I'm nice and won't hit people. I don't even care if it is sincere come up with a way to show me verses giving me a crappy line. However, the point is, guys tell us what we want to hear to get into our pants, why can't we tell him what he wants to hear, to get us into his life?

I am not trying to justify it, but I am throwing the coin into the air, maybe see both sides of the coin.

Because we're afraid "yourself" isn't good enough for him. Yeah, it's sad and stupid and desperate, but all girls try to be what their guy wants to hear / see. When you really like a guy you'll do anything to get him to like you even if "you" isn't REALLY you.
