Why do some guys call their girlfriends mean names?

If I call my girlfriend or my friends that are girls. A bitch or a whore doesn't mean I mean it. But then again, I make sure they know I am kidding. But I have tease-ing names for my girlfriend. She doesn't mind. And chicks call guys name too. It works both ways.

It could be a term of endearment, but then again, some guys are just assholes. I think you know how to tell the difference.

It could very well be a playful name to tease. I've called one of my girlfriends by 'bitch' and she loved it.

They're trying to flirt with you by being mean

I am a female and i do the same thing to my bfs. I'll say your so stupid and laugh but I cant really say why. I don't do it to be rude. I say it like your so stupid ur makin me laugh or ur dumb that was funny.

Well, they want the girl to feel inferior. They want to b in control. Girls shouldn't let that happen. That means the girl isn't use to a nice guy.
