Why do girls prefer gay best friends?

Because girls usually only have 1 true friend that's a girl if there even lucky that will always be there for them be honest with them and never bitch about them and gay guys tend to be great friends because they don't bitch they confront you and be honest with you and just seem to be always up for something fun and have great taste in clothes and won't tell you ,you look nice when you don't so they look better lol

B/c women have a tendency to be catty, backstabbing bitches. I only have 1 girl that I consider a true friend and I've known her since we were kids. With girls you have to constantly worry about jealousy, competition, her insecurity, talking behind your back, etc. Even if you THINK she's your friend, most of the time she's probably really not.

Straight guys don't have all that drama, and would be cool for a best friend except for the fact that most likely they are just trying to get in your pants.

So gay guys are like the best of both worlds!

I personally don't. But its because its a guy that can tell you stuff your girl friends can't and you know he will never hit on you nor try to have sex with you and he will be your friend I don't know lol just a thought.

PEOPLE ARE NOT LIMITED TO HAVING ONE BEST FRIEND.


Buttttt, a gay man may fall among them.

I think women have gay male best friends because they either A) Can tell a guy guy things they wouldn't be able to tell a straight man, B) Have watched queer eye one too many times (jkjk), or C) They admire them for their courage and not giving a f*** attitude.


Gay men are honest, and know what they're talking about, usually at least.

People are not best friends from day one, although they may have a strong connection. Gay guys have to earn trust and respect just like anyone else. SO I think what you really might be asking is how do you become close to the females in your life.


I would say BE THERE> Listen, and pay attention. Try and let her know that you can be as understanding as some of her friends, who might be gay, can be.

Women can be quite competitive with each other, and sometimes they just need a break from it. A gay male, with the right interests in the things a woman would be interested in, makes the ideal friend in this case.

He won't make a pass at her, he genuinely enjoys activities with her, and won't compete for any men she is interested in (provided her target isn't gay or bi).
