I like a guy right? Then I end up talking to them right? I get really nervous and don't say much or say something stupid. Or I even end up acting extremely immature which blows off any chances.
How can I over come this?
Thanks

You get nervous because you like them and you want them to like you. So all of a sudden you're in a situation where you're thinking, what do I say or not say in order for this guy to like me. Stop doing that. You are who you are and don't think that you have to be anything else.

Be a friendly person. Not all guys are going to think you're girlfriend material anyway. That's just the way it is. However, some of them will; and they will want to be with you because of who you are. Don't fake it or try to make it something else.

Once you stop over thinking it, then it will come more naturally to you.

How about just thinking of him as just some ordinary guy that has about the same feelings and insecurities as you do. Just don't try talking too much. Also, the very best things to talk about are things that might interest him.. things he's comfortable talking about. Besides if you do the asking of questions, they he has to do most of the talking. Ask him things like, about any sport you know he'd involved in.. just anything about that and let what he says lead to other questions about that in more detail. Or, talk about other things you might have in common.. classes, friends, etc. Also, you can complement him on some clothes he's wearing, his hair. Just don't asked questions that only require a yes or no or thank you response. You might say.. I like that shirt, where did you get it? Or, you played football last year, what position did you like playing best? Then you can ask, why after he tells you, etc, etc. You can ask him for directions to something, or advice on something.. anything to get him to talk instead of you. Soon you'll find yourself comfortable and it won't be so hard for you to know what to say. Good luck!.
