There's this guy who's been staring at me the whole year this year. I'm graduating in 2 weeks and we're never going to see each other again. he's in some of my classes and we've been staring at each the whole year. the problem is, is that we have never talked to each other. he's the rocker type and I'm more preppy. The reason why I've been scared to smile at him when I saw him looking, was because he might get too scared to smile back or what his friends would think. However, his friends have been also staring at me and it's gotten really weird. What should I do?
If he gets too scared to smile back, maybe he's the shy type. Just smile, who cares? If you don't, then nothing is going to happen. If you do, then something might happen. It seems to be better odds. The friends don't matter. What do you think will happen as a result of them knowing?
If you're never going to see this guy again, trust me, go and talk to him. There is nothing on this planet worse than regretting NOT doing something. I can't stress enough how much it sucks going through the rest of your life wondering what could have been. Talk to him. Or smile, but I'd do both.
Umm. a smile is nice, even if there's nothing behind it and even if it's not returned.
I typically at least make a little, closed mouth smile at everyone I pass, I think it's a bit stranger to just stare, straight lipped at someone (that would make me assume they were creeps)
