I am friends with this guy and I really like him, the only problem is we work together but in different states. I'm in Ohio, he is in Alabama and we talk at least once a week and we always have fun. We went on a trip to Cancun for work and the whole time he admitted to my mom he was making me jealous on purpose. He likes to get a rise out of me and push my buttons, does that mean he is interested or just friends?

interested definitely and if not there's something wrong with him he would have no other reason to make you jealous unless he likes attention

Okay, I know I'm probably not one to know this kind of stuff. For myself. But when it comes to my friends and other people, I have to say I do pretty good.

So I think that he is at least a little interested. If he's taking the time to make you jealous, and then tell your mom that he is doing it on purpose, then yeah, he has thought of you in a different way other than a friend. Also, pushing your buttons and making an attempt to tease you every once an a while is a good thing!

Then again, your right that it is difficult that you live in two different states. So maybe get to know him a little more, and ask him more about things in Alabama and take things from there! Best of luck!

I already talked everything out with him and told him if we are just friends, then we have to set boundaries because he would talk to me about sex and how we were going to have sex on the beach, etc so I am taking it day by day trying to ignore the fact we are never going to be together.
