I have a friend that went away away on vacation to another state. Problem is on Wednesday , I text him to see how his trip was going . . there was no response. Yesterday I text him to ask what day he was coming home because I wanted to invite him to a show that I was co- hosting , still no response. He tells me from time to time to not always text to actually call so today I did just that. HOWEVER he didn't pick up . I thinking he's ignoring me am I putting to much thought into this or is this valid ?
Ok I do exactly what you do I look too deep into something like this. Just play it cool until he comes back then see how he acts. Good luck and try not to put to much thought into it because it is probably nothing.
Maybe he needs some serious me time and wants to be relatively alone from the same people he's always dealing with and that's part of enjoying his vacation
Maybe he's ignoring you because he just doesn't want to deal with it and would rather focus on what he's doing
Maybe he thinks a few days can pass without him talking to a friend of his and the world will still be ok
You really sound like you're making a big deal out of nothing, he could seriously just be busy. Don't bother dudes too much, and don't make a big deal out of it if we don't talk to you every day, it's a great way to annoy guy friends and make them not want to be your friend anymore.
I know you said that you can't believe you asked this, but I had a couple other points I thought I would make. Depending on his plan/service, he may not even have service or may have to pay extra for roaming, etc. So he may not want to use his phone unless it's really important. I had a plan once that you didn't pay roaming or LD but as soon as you were roaming, EVERY minute counted against your plan minutes regardless of what time it was or who it was to. Not even mobile to mobile was free. If you already use most or all of your minutes, roaming for just a few days could be murder on your bill!
Plus he could have just forgot his charger. it happens! Lol.
It's likely that he's busy and enjoying himself on his vacation. So he doesn't want to text or chat at the moment; it's fine and most likely nothing to worry about. Guys are different from us; they hate excessive chatting, texting, etc. I'm sure he'll have plenty to tell you in person when he returns.
