Yes you do get over it. but everyone goes about it in different ways. If my ex came back into my life, I would leave that situation in a heart beat. you should listen to "Death Cab For Cutie - Someday You Will Be Loved"

Yes, once I figure that it won't work out, there's no reason for me to not get over the person. But that's just me, I'm sure it's different for everyone.

Depends on the person and how much you like them. I think that after a while you kind of get over them naturally if nothing happens. Like an 'out of sight, out of mind' thing. But Personally if someone that I used to like came back into my life and there was a chance of something happening (and of course I wasn't already with/almost with someone else) I would DEFINITELY go for it. I would hate to miss on the opportunity. Conversely, the situation would make me pretty nervous and I wouldn't want to screw up. so be careful!

it depends on who he is. if I see that nothing is going to happen between us, as much as I like him I make whatever it has to forget him, its hard but it is possible.

Yes, I have got over a person that I didn't like, I was actually in love with him that I did anything just to make him happy but he was to come back into my life I would say no because there's no point of dating a person in the past knowing that you're going to have problems in th future
