I'm 18 and I've never had a girlfriend. I don't think I'm a bad looking guy or anything, I'm more of a cute shy guy. I get a lot of complements about my eyes and my smile, so I guess that's a good thing. I am a really nice shy guy. I stutter and get really nervous when I am around girls that I am interested in. I've been home schooled ever since freshman year, and I think that affected my social life a lot. I will be starting college in August and am looking very forward to it. I work in a fast food restaurant and sometimes me and a girl daze off into each other eyes, but I usually break it because I get all nervous and stuff. There have been some other times where girls flirt with me but I try to leave or go do something else. I guess this kind of gives out the impression that I'm not interested. Any tips or anything ? :(
Update: I'm somewhat of a loner, I do have a couple friends, no girls though, but we never talk or hang out more than 5 times a month. Most of the girls at work sorta put me down. I guess they're more into the gangster kind of guys.Any suggestions making friends

Be your self, I have a hard time meeting new friends and keeping them. They will come when the time is right, just be patient and be happy with what you got.
Just try your best to stay focus and consider what kind of girl you would like to date. Most girls adore shy confidence guys I know I do. So, be yourself and stay in charge.
I was my Boyfriends first girl friend. He was 17 at the time. but just be your self and why are you so nervous. I guess I kinda understand.B4 I got a job I was always real shy. Just start out making friends with girls.then eventually it will be easier to talk to the girls you are interested in.
I used to have this same problem all you have to do is to have confidence about yourself and everything will fall into place. I bet you're very good looking. Its ok if you haven't had a girlfriend before but you better get your first one ASAP .
Try to make more girl friends. Not ones that you're necessarily attracted to, but it'll help you be less shy around women, which'll help you to be less nervous around someone that you like.
Be yourself and try to relax. There is a perfect girl out there somewhere for you that will make it so easy for you to be outgoing! College is a great time to find someone! Just work on bein friends before anything else!
Don't feel bad that you stopped the staring contest. It is the right thing to do because if you stare at a girl that you just met for 10 seconds then its creepy. If you have a nice smile and eyes might as well use them.
Some girls think that it is cute when a guy is stuttering because it is a way for shy guys to show that they are interested.
Im guessing that your afraid of rejection, don't worry about it. You have a nice smile and guys would kill to have that. If you get turned down, it is not like they are being a snob about it. They will try and say it politely as possible like " Now is not the time" or " I already have a boyfriend"
If you can overcome being shy then you can get a lot of the ladies =P. If the girl is flirting with you then flirt with her. Look at both of her eyes when you are talking to her and keep smiling. Keep you shoulders facing toward her.

For a casual night. Not into fancy on the 1st date. Depending on how early, probably coffee shop followed by an outdoor walk then to a more fun but cozy dinner. Possibly followed by drinks or a long moonlit walk...ok maybe not that last part.
