I have noticed that when I talk to a guy some won't look at me when I'm talking to them and some do. why is that. Is it that he doesn't want to talk to me? is he shy? or has a problem looking at people ?
Shyness, pure and simple. Most people these days find it hard to hold eye contact. Furthermore, if the woman is especially attractive that makes it all the more.tougher.to hold that eye contact. Men are intimidated by hot women. What you're seeing happen is probably an effect of this. 20% of the men out there have 80% of the sex, and there's a reason for that. Women are attracted to alpha traits, of which strong confident eye contact is a part of. To put it bluntly, this is why most guys will look away if you're exceptionally beautiful and/or they're beta males.
Alpha males don't appear timid, generally speaking, and so those that do shy away from the woman when it comes to body language or eye contact is telegraphing their beta status through non-verbal subtext. The good news is that it's an unattractive quality which can be improved upon, or undone completely with a practice. - 5 months ago
Theres other ways to tell by their body language what's really going through their head besides where his eyes are, but for the most part you're spot on. Generally if the guy isn't looking at you its because he's shy, doesn't want to feel like he's staring, or just doesn't feel comfortable. That's natural, some people just don't feel 'right' in that situation, and they won't until they start being part of enough social situations that they have to learn to cope.
If he's just making shy eye contact, this is the case. If he's not looking at you, seems closed off, and most of your conversations end quickly, his replies are short, often just a 'yes' or 'no' this guy is just counting the seconds until you're gone. It sounds terrible but that's the way a lot of people react to someone they don't really want to be talking to. They're very dismissive.
I think its just cos some guys are shy. Usually when someone is interested in talking to you they will orientate their body towards you and/or make eye contact. Eye contact is important because eyes are like windows into our "soul", so its a big deal.
