It's been on my mind and curiosity killed my cat(RIP Fluffy.ha ha) and would like to know what you would think of your boyfriend's best friend being a woman?
as long as I know there's nothing going on between then I have no problem at all. it is easier not to be bothered by it if the girl is taken. I mean, who am I to tell my guy who he can and can't have as a best friend. I wouldn't want to be told I couldn't hang with my friend because he just happens to have a penis.
That would probably get me uncomfortable. I'd at least try to get to know her and become friends with her too. But I can be pretty jealous sometimes lol, so I don't know. It's just that my ideal boyfriend would be someone that I would also consider a best friend.
My ex had a female bestfriend, and I was cool about it because I had a lot of guy friends too. I trusted him.and me and her became friends too. But for some reason, she kept trying to get me to break up with him. Telling me he's a player, etc. And I found out months later that she was talking shit about me to my ex. And then later on I found out that while me and my ex were dating, they both had some kind of attraction towards each other. and after me and him broke up, they talked about hooking up. Aside from that experience, a lot of my guy friends have fallen in love with me, which ruined the friendship. and therefore, I don't believe that a man could stay friends with a chick.
one of my ex boyfriend's best friends was a girl and I didn't mind at all as they grew up together and I just trusted it wasn't a threat. However it got a bit much when he seemed to hang out a lot more with girls then guys, and he started becoming really good friends with my best friends, to the point he talk about our relationship problems with them, I didn't like that at all. I wanted him to be able to have someone to talk about things with, and I was happy he got along with my friends, but I didn't like the two together. So yea, I don't mind if your boyfriend best friend was a girl, and there's nothing you can do if he has a lot of girl friends, but it can get a bit intimidating.
me being a pretty jealous person would kinda feel intimidated but if she has a boyfriend or I know for sure that she has no feelings for him then I might be okay.
