So I met a guy down here at Huntington Beach. He invited me to go to his friend's birthday party tonight. I've been to a few drinking parties before and at each, was of course an outsider and the only sober one. However, at this party I definitely won't know anyone.is it ok to be going to a complete stranger's party with someone I rarely know myself? I'm a little uneasy about this, as this is definitely stepping out of my conserved shell. What if I don't have fun because of all this? (no drinking, not knowing anyone.) I'm in an unfamiliar area.
If its a stranger, I wouldn't go. It all depends on how social you are and from the sounds of it, being conservative wouldn't help. If you do go, make sure you have a way home and that you can leave whenever you want.
doesn't sound like a good idea to go all though it could be fun and you could see some funny things I don't think its worth risking yourself to see those funny things so yeah I wouldn't go
My girlfriend and I go to different colleges and she drinks but isn't much of a partier she said. Tonight she is going to her first party at college....
