The long story:

I was at a music concert at my school, and I noticed that the pianist was really REALLY hot. I wanted to meet him because I also play piano and I haven't had a good teacher in a while. So I got up the courage to ask him if he had any suggestions for music teachers that may be good for me. He was really really nice, and while I was drooling over him, he mentioned some places and eventually said that he also teaches piano to pay off for HIS piano lessons (which are really expensive). I told him I'd think about it.and I still am. Thinking about.

The thing is, I would LOVE to get piano lessons from him. I'm sure he would make an amazing teacher because he plays phenomenal. But I'm afraid that my feelings for him might create some problems if I see him more and more often.

He's 21 and I'm only 16. Should I still take lessons from him? I'm afraid I might become a little obsessed with him. And is the age difference thing weird?

Update: Update:I've read the advice coming and I'm still undecided. Firstly 'cause 1person thinks the age difference is huge, while the other two people claim it's nothing.Plus, he's not the type of guy with sexual intentions. He makes ME look like the pedophile!    5 months ago

I don't think it's a good idea. I mean, sure it's just piano lessons, but you already know you're going to get attached to him. And 16 and 21 is a huge age difference. There is nothing a 16 year old girl can offer a 21 year old guy except her body. Its sad to say, but it's true. Doesn't matter how mature she is, the guy will only be interested in one thing.

Sixteen and twenty-one is nothing, age difference-wise. I say go for it if you really like this guy; nothing ventured, nothing gained.

Hes not that much older in fairness, y shouldnt you take lessons. You get the best out of both worlds a good looking guy you can drool over and piano lessons. Although the only thing is you may not be able to concentrate! good luck
