Why does my husband check out other women?

It is probably disrespectful of him to do that but I don't believe that there's any underlying meaning to it either.

I've often looked at other women walking by but as soon as they turn the corner my mind is on to something else.

Sure, it's disrespectful to you but it's not necessarily a sign that he is no longer interested in you. In fact, if he weren't interested in you any longer, he would probably be hiding the fact that he was checking out other women.when a man gets shady is when things are more likely to be awry. You'd think by his age he would have learned to be more subtle about looking at other women, but it's not a sign of any problems in the relationship just a natural male reaction.

This is a very common issue and it is NOT! a sign he is looking for something else. Chances are he doesn't even know his actions have such a strong effect on you. But that doesn't excuse him. He simply needs to be made aware of how you feel when he does that.

Expect him to be surprised or to see it as no big deal. A lot of men will have wandering eyes out of habit and don't place investments in the women they look at. Just because he's looking doesn't mean he wants something more from them. Men are visual and will respond to visual stimuli, simple as that.

But it's a habit that has a very bad consequence for you. Once he knows that, his willingness to address it will be a better indication of his love and respect for you than his wandering eyes are.

It is natural for people to still look at the opposite sex in relationships, but it can be disrespectful depending on how he is about it. If he is making sure you know he's checking out other women that is disrespectful, if he's just trying to subtly check out other women he's just being human.
