I had a guy friend who is off to college and we were planning to hang out before his first year of being there (although the college is only 15 min away). A couple of weeks passed by and I decided to text him if we were still hanging out. He just says "idk maybe later." Alright then, so we would talk here and their. Suddenly he starts texting like "we should hang out 2nite." I told him I couldn't because I had to go to school and I was already in bed. He asks " aw you didn't invite me to snuggle :(?" I laughed and said I wasn't a touchy person. Then he asks "well what if I wanted to cuddle?" It was awkward so I just said maybe. Couple of days later and I talked to him again. But this time he tells me we can't be friends cause I get to mad. I fight to get him to be friends and he pops a question "what would you do if you saw me in the shower alone?" I just asked why I would be there? and he says "can't be friends." I called 1/2 weeks later to see what was going on and he still didn't care to be friends. He knew I liked him once so was he just joking to be mean? Cause it actually feels more insulting then flattering when he says those things. It makes me sad because I was actually really close to this guy in school so to break up our friendship over w e it hurts. I feel like I can't make a good guy friend around here. So anything to help me feel so not depressed?
To me it sounds like he was either serious and likes/liked you and wanted to be affectionate, or he was being an immature prick just after sex. Either way if he reacted poorly to you not wanting that then he wasn't worth having as a friend to begin with, anyone that doesn't have you and your interests in mind isn't a friend. And I don't know, personally I'm a dude and can't find too many good dude friends no I'm not gay, but it's a pain finding an actually decent dude as a friend most of them seem to just talk about using chicks, sorry.
It's the way college guys can be. It happened to me, last year this guy and I had a thing and then he left for college and when he came back he was a complete ass to me. After that I decided I didn't want anything to do with college guys. They change so much, you always miss the old them and you can't do anything to get that back. I guess you can try to just give it sometime.
I met him like a year ago and though he was engaged, he sometimes would flirt a bit with me when he got drunk. Now that he's asking to hang out...

Describe your ideal first date; Where do you go? What do you wear? How does the date end?
My ideal first date would probably be somewhere nice, not too fancy. I can go anywhere and eat, you can even bring me to a food court. Going to the movies will be fun too. Most importantly, he must treat me with respect.What I wear depends on where we are going but I would say my style is casual and chic.The date would probably end either by hugging or a quick peck.
