Through a series of wonderful events I've found myself in the friend camp with a shred of hope that someday I will be able to take our relationship further.
But as it stands now I'm angry at myself for being such a fool. I knew she would make the choice she did, but I couldn't help myself from being oddly optimistic and hoping that we could be more than friends. I think that optimism came from holding her hand but I overlooked a key detail, which is for the better, and I shouldn't have been as optimistic as I was.
So what can I do to keep my mind from Irrevocably coming back to her? I would really enjoy hanging out with friends but so far I haven't been able to get together with any of them.
Yeah, when you're in a tight situation, don't feel bad for 'planning ahead'. If you don't think things through, you can mess up and messing up in tight situations means you screw yourself over. I see a girl once every 2 weeks, so of course I get myself comfortable with what I'm generally going to do. Don't read off of a script, but think the day over so you're ready. What do you want to communicate to her? Do you want to move fast or slowly? etc. When you're together sparingly, you need to plan!
Hit on as many girls as you can, prepare material that you can use to keep a girls attention, and make her like you. Read up on the net a lot about the art of seduction and PUA forums {and no it's not all about getting someone to have sex with you}. I see it more as techniques to get someone to let you at least have a few dates and a chance to sell yourself to the person of your desire.

Ah. Well honestly I'm HORRIBLE at the whole dating thing, and my dates have always gone completely miserable, but hmm.. The prefect date would have to be something fun and relaxing. No dressing up or any of that crap, just like jeans and a t-shirt for attire? If the date goes well it would end with a kiss. =]
Afterwards..what will your date know about you?
Well, I tend to talk a lot when I'm nervous. Probably a little too much =] Haha.
