Pray about it, and grieve the losses and pain. Don't just cry, which is superficial. Grieve, which lets God take the pain that is in the depths of your soul and expel it from your body, using your tears to irrigate the wound as He cleanses it and sutures it shut. Without deep grief, you will end up superficially mourning it for the rest of your life. With deep grief, you go deep for a few minutes, or hours, depending on how big, and deep the wound is. Like any surgery, though, grief takes a little while to happen, but when it is done, it is done.
keep yourself busy with something else. go to the gym, get extra shifts at work (hey, it's effective), do some activity to release all your frustrations (kickboxing, wall climbing.), anything to prevent you from thinking about him.
but let's be honest. by the end of the day, he'll come crawling back into your head once again. i know. what a bastard.
that's why you need to go find yourself a "rebound guy". lol. just someone you find attractive and is really nice. you don't have to necessarily BE with this guy, but just so you can say for yourself that "this guy is waaay better - and hotter - than my ex."
like what kendysheperd had said though, DON'T CALL HIM. EVER. not until you've recovered and moved on. if you want to get over him, you have to learn to MOVE ON and accept the fact that he's gone.
keep reminding yourself that HE wasn't worth it. YOU deserve someone BETTER. don't waste your time dwelling over him. it was HIS LOSS, not yours.
When my boyfriend of 8 months broke up with me I bought new shoes and sunglasses and went the extra mile to look great! After we broke up, I couldn't eat or even think straight. I avoided going to class because I knew I would have to see him there. whenever some one even mentioned his name I got sick to my stomach and one day I cried to hard I puked.I lost 10 lbs, so at least I looked thin when I cried a ton! LOL. But my sister was there for me and gave me great advice. We skipped school together and went tanning and made fun of him! Laughter cures all. Talk to your friends, but DO NOT CALL HIM! that is the kiss of death is you keep calling the guy. he'll think you psycho. trust me.
Don't rush into a relationship! Masturbation is you best friend now! JK, well, it honestly made me feel a lot better because I felt like I needed no one in my life. I could get everything I needed from myself and love from my friends.
In all, it took me at least 1 to 2 months to get over him, but I now see I am soo much better off!
Dont be a wuss,no one gives a f*** if ur sad in this world, attack and stab him in the back just like how he broke ur heart,if he was in ur heart then he shall not be safe no more until you mend ur heart,i don't mean hurting as in any form of physical contact, but take ur revenge and make sure you get outta this with ur head held high,REVENGE IS THE BEST DISH SERVED COLD.Take revenge not because ur spiteful, but because you ran out of forgiveness. - 2 months ago

Describe your ideal first date; Where do you go? What do you wear? How does the date end?
We go to a small, funky little coffee shop that is out of the way and quiet. I'm wearing an old tee that I got from Japan, jeans, and my chucks. We sit and talk for no longer than an hour, then part our ways and head home.
Afterwards..what will your date know about you?
They should know my interests, the kind of music I like (punk), my passions - philosophy and dance, my political stance (left-wing), a bit about my family, what I'm taking at university.
I encountered an article on good ole GIRLS ASK GUYS that frankly pissed me off a bit, and felt I had to counter respond. The article seemed to indicate that if a guy is friends with a girl then she...
