I was wondering are you happy right now? If so what makes you happy? I find myself asking this question because I currently don't feel as happy as I could be, but then I realize if I had all that made me happy would that actually be enough or would I want more? Please feel free to respond.
Personally, no, not as happy as I could be. I wish I didn't have to worry about money. That doesn't mean that I wish I was loaded so I could buy gold plated toilets. It means I wish I didn't have to concern myself with keeping the bills paid, gas money, insurance, etc. I think without money we'd all be a lot better off, as the pursuit of money seems to be too huge a focus in our lives and drives many to do things they shouldn't go get it. However, I do understand that in our society, money is unfortunately an evil that we do have to deal with. If I didn't have to worry about it, I'd be a lot happier is the gist of it. ;)
But that aside, I do believe that if I had someone special in my life, some alone time, time to be with my friends, time with my family, a roof over my head, and eventually my own little anklebiters, I'd be a happy man. Would I want more? I'm sure I would (I could *really* use that Nissan GT-R. Warp speed Mr. Sulu!). I think we all would. Would we *need* more? No, I don't think so. :)
I think people aren't really happy, I think that people can only be happy for things or certain moments, because to be happy there must be nothing wrong, and face it there is always something wrong if there's nothing wrong then your to mellow or the world is not functioning the right way. In order to be happy there must always be something bad, or you wouldn't be happy because if there's no bad then there's no good. If you get what saying there's always bad and good. You may seem happy and really not be, or be sad but really be happy. Even though that sounds really weird. Its just the way life works.
I guess you could be happy with what you have, I thought about it and think that if you don't want anything more than what you have and are happy with that, then you are happy. - 2 months ago
Sure I'm happy! But it isn't the things that I have or don't have. It's hard to explain but when I wake up in the morning I feel so good! There's just this huge world out there and I have so much of my life ahead of me. Every day is different. I've never lived the same day twice. That's amazing right? So many opportunities to learn something new, see something different, meet interesting people, hear wonderful music. Yeah, it sounds crazy or corny but no matter what happens I enjoy every minute of it. Good or bad. I mean, it's life! That's what I was made for! ^_^
happiness isn't realy defined by what you have.Things outside of you ultimately are not going to make you happy in the long run.As always with happiness comes anger or whatever, an opposite to keep a balance in your life.Instead as buddah would instruct, its better to find inner peace, a true inner balance, stay the way in the middle not going to either side of extrems like joyness, or desire, or exitment for too long. Just a sublime way of life calm and peaceful.
I'm unhappy with certain aspects of my life right now, but overall, I'm happy. I think my nephew has a lot to do with it. He's only 3 weeks old, but before he was born, it was easier to focus on the things I wanted rather than what I have. I don't necessarily mean material things, but either way, you don't have to get everything you want in order to be happy. I had plans for the summer, and now there's a good chance they'll fall through. I'm not happy about that, but there are worse things that could happen. I also wanted my nephew to be born, and I finally got him, and my sister wants me to be his godmother. Some things may not be working in my favor, but there are still other things for me to be happy about.
I don't think there's ever a time when everything in life is perfect, but that doesn't mean you can't be happy. You just have to focus on the positive.
I'm not happy right now lol, but small things can usually make me happy. It's important to be able to make yourself happy, because anything outside of you can be lost/taken away. I think happiness is fleeting and that's how it's supposed to be, so that you'll appreciate it when it does come :]
I am happy, I 'm just happy because I want to be. I make sure to smile a lot and if I feel kindof sad. Then I do something I like, like listnening to music or watching a movie, dancing, anything. I also make sure to get good sleep and exercise because it makes you feel good and when you feel good usually your happy You can buy and find all that could make you happy, but it seems people are never fully happy that way. So try your best in pampering yourself now and then and splurging on a CD or DVD or pair of shoes you want now and then. Go out with your girls, to a nice club meet some hot boys and get their numbers then the next day and pick one to call up and go for dinner. THAT MAKES ME HAPPY! :)
Let's say you hate your nose (like me). Do you tend to notice and critique other people's noses? I find myself overlooking (on other people)...
