I have been giving a co-worker a ride to work. Everyday she is running late and we are anywhere from a 2 to 15 minutes late for work.

My boss asked her the other day why she is always late, I over heard her say to our boss, it was because I am always late picking her up.

What would you do?

A. Give her one more ride and tell her off in the car?

B. Just not pick her up on Monday?

C. Tell my boss she lied or let it go?

Do what I did to my freind that constantly made me late, ditch them. They don't realize that YOU HAVE TO LEAVE EARLIER just to pick them up.

Not only do you leave home earlier than usuall, she makes you late for work. then she had the balls to make it look like its your fault. She sold you out and it was her fault the two of you are late, she can't care about you if she did that. time to ditch her as a freind because in reality, she isn't.

D. Tell her on the phone you cannot pick her up in the morning anymore. No fighting, no confrontations. You can't do it anymore. She isn't worthy of your freindship or help. Sorry if I come off as harsh but I been through this and some people just don't appreciate your help untilyou pull back and it is too late for them. Maybe she will learn and not do this to the next person that tries to help her.

I would talk to her about it firstly, not argue, but just talk and get it sorted out. If she doesn't want to listen then go to your boss and tell him the whole truth and nothing but the truth without making a big scene, and then letting it over to him. If both doesn't listen then don't give her lifts anymore, especially if she gives false testimony about you and lie behind your back.

I would not tell the boss but tell her that it isn't your fault and that it is her fault, she should take responsibility for her own actions, after you let her know this ask her if she is going to or not? If not tell her to find another way to work.

I say, don't pick her up anymore and advise her of this. If you have no been reprimanded for being late by your boss, then don't mention it.

NO ONE ELSE should be making YOU late.
let her get to work on her own late time.

I would call her and say that since I am constantly making her late for work, I think it's better than she find another ride who is more prompt. End by saying.Sorry it didn't work out.

Then hang up on the wench!

That way, you let her know that you heard her ass lying AND you give her a non-confrontational send off.

Good luck!

Go with A, it'll be direct and painless, in the sense story straight, distant friends.

A.
but I wouldn't 'tell her off' just confront her and if you know that you heard her tell your boss that lie, don't let her talk her way out of it. If she doesn't say anything that makes you forgive her, tell her to start walking :)
I hate ungrateful people!
