Haven't seen him in AGES - when to plan going on a drive?

Haven't seen this guy I HAD been seeing in around 2 months because of exams, canceled plans & being busy etc.

Summer holidays are here, and I text him to say we should do something, which he agreed on and I said I'd be nice and let him pick so he said go on a drive. I text LAST week and said do you want to NEXT week. It's now NEXT week, and he has text me early a few days (I've been in bed haha) but no mention of the drive.

I'm getting my hair done over the weekend & tuesday, colour, cut & extensions. I'd kinda rather go on the drive once my hair is done so I look as nice as possible.

Is it okay to wait until I get it done before mentioning what days I'm free for a drive, or should I text him today and just pick a day this week since I said THIS week to him.?
